CoF | Co-efficient of Friction Testing | Friction Testing

CoF or Coefficient of Friction Testing or Friction Tester is used to determine the frictional force between two materials. CoF Testing is done on a variety of materials like: plastic and polymers, lubricants, Ceramic tiles, etc.

After Coefficient of Friction Testing , value varies depending on the test materials. Generally; if CoF Value is lower, the friction is said to very less to none between the two test materials and vice versa.

A value of CoF is usually between 0 and 1, a zero value means there is no friction at all between the two materials, while a value of 1 means the frictional force is equal to normal force.
